Purpose: The Beta Club will promote the ideals of character, service, and leadership among elementary and secondary school students. It will reward meritorious achievement, and encourage and assist students in continuing their education after high school.

Eligibility:  5^th Grade Students who receive only satisfactory scores on the conduct section of the 4^th grade report card, have all A’s after the first nine week grading period and a letter of recommendation from a previous teacher.

Requirements:  To remain in good standing in the club, students maintain an A average in all semester grades and model good citizenship throughout the school year.  Additionally, students must participate in at least two community service events to fulfill the service portion of the national organization.
