    • Pencils
    • Earbuds/Headphones
    • Basic or Scientific Calculator (TI 36x Pro)

    Google Classroom:

We will be utilizing Google Classroom as our online learning platform. Its purpose is to simplify creating and distributing learning materials in a paperless way. Students should check their class page daily to stay up to date on current resources, assignments, and other important information.

    Grading Policy:

As defined by a school wide grading policy, the final grades for each semester will be calculated using the following percentages:

    • Practice Work: 40% of the overall grade
    • Assessment Tasks: 40% of the overall grade
    • Semester Summative Assessment Tasks: 20% of the overall grade

    Homework:

Starting on August 7th, students will have a homework assignment every week.  The assignment will be located on google classroom. It will be assigned on Monday and due on Friday.  The homework program gives automatic feedback so students can make corrections until they make 100%. This will go into Infinite Campus as a practice work grade.
