Welcome to Mrs. Smith's Georgia Studies Class! I love being a part of the Ola Mustangs family and I look forward to watching our students grow this school year! We are a part of Team 803, which includes our outstanding math, science, and language arts teachers. We will also have other teachers in our classes to support all of our students with various needs.
I will be preparing students for high school with various types of research, reading, writing, and citing textual evidence as we explore the state of Georgia together. Eighth grade is a time of transition and I have high expectations for my students. We WILL work hard, but I also want this time to be meaningful and memorable for students.
