Mr. David Bentley

GO DAWGS!   

I am starting my 16^th year in teaching and have taught at the middle school level for 11 of those years.  Along with teaching, I have also had the opportunity to coach football, baseball, basketball and track at the middle school level.   I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Middle Grades Education from West Georgia College in 1995 and my Master's Degree in Sports Management from Liberty University in 2016.  

My wife Carol and I live in Jonesboro.  We attend First Baptist Jonesboro where we have enjoyed working with the children.  We have two daughters and 5 grandchildren.  Our favorite thing to do is spending time with the grandchildren.  Some of our other interests include travelling, fishing, cooking/ grilling, and kayaking.

I look forward to this new school year as we venture into Virtual learning to start the school year.  The students in my class can expect challenges, growth and success as we work together to improve our selves with hard work and dedication to the Wolverine Way!.
