Mr. Anwar White

Greetings!

My name is Anwar White, and I am excited to join the Eagle’s Landing Middle School family as an assistant principal.  I joined the administrative team in January 2023 and I’m looking forward to starting the 2023-2024 school year.

I am a proud native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Johnson C. Smith University in 2001, my Master of Science in Exercise Science from California University of Pennsylvania in 2010, and my Tier I Leadership Certification from Kennesaw State University in 2021.  Currently, I am working toward my Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Kennesaw State University.

My career in education started in Dekalb County School District as a middle school science teacher from 2006 – 2015.  I then progressed to high school science teacher from 2015 – 2022, and then served as a high school MTSS Specialist in 2022 before becoming an assistant principal in January 2023.  In addition to teaching, I have also coached football, track, and golf at the middle and high school level.

I am honored to serve the Eagle’s Landing Middle School students, families, and staff as we begin another successful school year.
