    Hello!  My name is Kerry Vanderford, and Thank you for taking the time to visit my teacher page!  The opening of the 2023-24 school year marks the beginning of my 20th year as a member of the faculty of Luella High School [and my 2nd (after last year) as the longest-serving faculty member].  Although it has been my pleasure to spend the majority of my years here at Luella working in the Mathematics department, I have also been privileged to spend time serving in both the Science and Social Studies departments.  This year, however, I will be stepping away from the traditional classroom and stepping into the role of online classroom coordinator - which simply means that I will be responsible for overseeing those of our LHS students who are scheduled to work on the completion of an online course during one of the periods of their school day.
     
    If you are reading this because you are an LHS student who is in one of my classes, then ... Welcome!  I hope that you will allow me to assist you as you work toward the completion of your academic goals for this year.  If you are reading this because you are a parent whose son or daughter is going to be in the classroom with me, then Welcome to you too!  I hope that I will have the chance to meet you in person at some point this year, but, whether that occurs or not, please allow me to encourage you to contact me (at the email address provided above) at any time that you may have a question (or concern) regarding how your child is doing.  I hope that, together, we can help your child to have a successful academic experience this year!
