Welcome! 

The Principal Council acts as an advisory group to Mr. Jerry Smith Jr.  

Our group involves leaders in the building, not necessarily “elected student leadership,” but also students who are leaders of their peers – in class, in athletics, in fine arts, etc. With this group, Mr. Smith shares a good deal of the school data similar to what is shared with the School Council. This group discusses policy, provides input on school issues, insight to school problems and suggests ideas on how to improve the student experience.  

Principal Council is a true representation of our student body.

To assure as many student voices are captured, we also have 3 Class Councils led by each grade-level Administrator:

            Senior Class Council – Dr. Tammy Staten-Daniels

            Junior Class Council- Dr. Bryan Reese

            Sophomore Class Council – Mr. Cedric Nash
