What is the National Technical Honor Society?
The National Technical Honor Society is a student organization that recognizes and encourages higher scholastic achievement, cultivates a desire for personal excellence, and helps top students find success in today’s highly competitive workplace.
What are the requirements?
NTHS requires a minimum overall GPA of 3.0
Must be enrolled in a CTE (career technical) program and maintain an A average
Must be an active member in a CTSO (Career & Technical Student Organization)
To have a career/technical GPA of 3.25
To have taken at least two career tech classes
To be an active member of one of the Career Tech Student Organizations: FBLA, FFA, HOSA, DECA, Robotics, FGA, ROTC
To have a personal commitment to workforce excellence
Commendable character with no discipline issues
How much is membership: $35
What do members receive?
Included in the membership is a custom certificate; custom black tri-fold portfolio, member ID card, member pin, diploma seal, window decal, white graduation tassel with the NTHS drop and access to print general letters of recommendations with the current date and eligibility to apply for scholarships.
