Luella Gender & Sexuality Alliance

Mission Statement:

GSA’s mission is to interconnect the LGBTQIA+ community and straight students to practice equality, support each other, create new friendships, and create a safe space to socialize. GSA also intends to support and educate its members about The Trevor Project, a national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ+ young people ages 13-24. 

Our club is sponsored by Ms. Lacy Noel, Ms. Kimberly Davis, and Ms. Renee Yawn.

Meetings will be held on Tuesdays after school, please see one of the sponsors for dates.

Our goal is to encourage positivity and kindness towards others and to create a safe space for students to talk and interact with other students while feeling comfortable with themselves. Overall, GSA will be a club encouraging students to support each other and promote equality and kindness. The club will benefit those who decide to join by creating a safe space for them to socialize and make new friends.
