Kennedi M. Ward

Kennedi M. Ward is an 8th grader at Eagle’s Landing Middle School in Henry County  and a Girls Empowering Movement Leader.  Kennedi, an Eagle’s Landing Middle School PBIS Youth Ambassador was selected in April of 2020 to lead the state of Georgia GEM Leadership Program due to her PBIS principles, leadership ability, and academic success. Kennedi and fifteen other middle school leaders will be creating programs and mentorship opportunities to help motivate and encourage a healthy lifestyle for the youth in the state of Georgia. 

Designed by girls, for girls, this new initiative shifts power and control of physical activity programs into their hands. As a Leadership Council member, Kennedi will provide guidance for a multi-year physical activity project that will reach 120 sites and millions of girls across the state!
