Melanin Excellence's core values are to educate and inform the LHS population about the plight and triumphs of WOC. We believe this organization is vital to preparing the LHS student body to fulfill the school's mission of preparing every student to be college, career, and life ready. With the current social climate of our nation ,we believe that is vital to educate our community on some of the main issues/topics WOC face on a daily basis (social, cultural, political, financial, business, lifestyle, etc.). We hope that our organization would be a catalyst for change, and impact LHS for future generations.
