Part of the sixth grade curriculum includes history, which enables us to understand our past, and better shape our future. Part of our curriculum includes geography, which enables us to understand the challenges our planet faces.  Part of our curriculum includes economics, which enables us to understand how the resources of a nation are best put to use.  Part of our curriculum includes the study of government, which enables us to understand how to live within and participate within our society.  In short, social studies is an important subject area that truly affects us all.  I wish the best of luck to your child for a successful 6th grade year!
