Many Health Complaints are Related to Seasonal Changes!These are the Main Health Issues Seen in the Clinic through the Seasons:
August - October
- Bug Bites,
- Skin rashes
- Seasonal Allergies
- Colds / Sinus Infections
- After School Play and Sports Injuries
These top the list during late summer and early fall!
Make sure your child receives the proper oral or topical medication / bandaging before coming to school so they will be comfortable and ready to learn!
The Clinic does not carry medication to treat allergies, rashes and bug bites or after school play/sports injuries!Student who have severe asthma or other severe allergies are allowed to carry inhalers and EpiPens on their persons.
A Permission to Self-Administer Medicine form is required (see link below).
However, it is recommended that a backup inhaler or EpiPen be kept in the Clinic for emergencies.November - April
