I am thrilled to serve as a gifted resource and advanced math teacher.  I look forward to getting to know each of you this school year.

I am a native of Henry County and am a proud member of the Stockbridge High School class of 1985.  I have a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Piedmont University. For more than twenty years, I have taught students in kindergarten through fifth grade in both the general education classroom and in the gifted resource settings.  I believe that every child is unique and capable of changing the world by just being him or herself.  There is nothing more professionally rewarding than being a small part of helping children develop into life-long learners who endeavor to be a productive part of our society.

I have been married to my husband, Alan, for thirty-35 years.  Our only child, Cameron, has recently become a father himself, making me a "Honey (aka grandmother)."  The bosses of our house are two ninety-pound Airedale terriers named Churchill and Charlotte.  When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, painting, watching television and exploring the North Georgia mountains.

The 2024-2025 school year is going to be AWESOME!  Together we will accomplish great things!!
