Mrs. Green
Third Grade Teacher
Hi! My name is Mrs. Green, and I am THRILLED to be your child's teacher! We are going to have such a wonderful year, and it is going to be full of fun and meaningful learning opportunities! I am so excited to get to know all of you, but first I want to tell you a little bit about me.
I was "born and raised" in Jackson, but now live in Jenkinsburg. I have one sister, and one brother, and I am the youngest! I have known for my entire life that I wanted to be a teacher, so when I graduated high-school, I immediately started college. In 2012, I graduated from Mercer University with my B.S. in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. In December of 2016, I completed my Masters Degree with Brenau University for Early Childhood Education. I started my teaching career teaching Lottery Funded Pre-K. I taught Pre-K for 2.5 years, and then I taught 3rd grade at Oakland Elementary for 1 and a half years. In 2016 I came to New Hope Elementary as an IRR teacher for 1st and 3rd grades, and the following year I went back to 3rd grade.
I am married to my high-school sweetheart! We have been married since October of 2008, and he is my best friend! We have one son, Haven (11 years old), twin daughters, Haper and Paisley (7 years old), and Everley is the grand finale (3 years old).
I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year, and for us to get to know one another! I know that it is going to be a wonderful year!
