• All About Mrs. Palmer

Ever since I was a small child, I wanted to be a teacher.  I love seeing students learn and grow, both socially and academically.  I attended Georgia State University from 2000 to 2004 and graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.  In 2006, I returned to Georgia State University and acquired a Master's Degree with a focus on Literacy and Mathematics.  I was awarded Teacher of the Year at Flippen Elementary in 2009.  I have taught in fourth grade, third grade, and special education.  I have been teaching since 2004!

I am married to Benton Palmer.  He also works in the Henry County School System.  We have two daughters; Harper and Hadley. One of my favorite things to do is hang out with my family.  I have a variety of interests including crafting, sewing, scrapbooking, reading, running, and shopping!
