New Hope Family:

It is with honor and great pleasure that I greet you all as the Principal of New Hope Elementary. I am humbled and elated to lead such an amazing school full of phenomenal employees and children each day! I am looking forward to another exceptional year! As we embark on this journey together, I will continue to keep student achievement at the forefront of all decisions. I am proud of the progress we made this past year. I will lead with high expectations of myself and of each person in the building to ensure that our school continues to be known as one of the best in Henry County!

Our ultimate goal at New Hope is to do whatever it takes to help every child be successful. As Principal, I will work diligently each day to lead the work in the building to ensure that all students are engaged, challenged, growing, and connected at school. We will continue to nurture high expectations for all stakeholders in a supportive learning environment. We remain committed to arts integration and seeing students excel in the AI lessons. 

Additionally, I will also work cohesively with Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Burnfin to establish a school culture that promotes educational excellence for the students and staff. As a school leader, I look forward to assisting teachers and aiding them in their goal of ensuring that all children are successful. Lastly, I want to work with the faculty and staff to develop an environment of mutual respect where they feel safe, empowered, and motivated to shine also. 

As John Quincy Adams once said, “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.” I am inspired by that challenge. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at New Hope, and I am honored to be with such great people daily! I value education wholeheartedly and believe that it is key to a prosperous life and for young people becoming effective, contributing members of society.
