Welcome Bobcat Families!
My name is Tiffany Early. My experience in education has afforded me to build my teaching skills in Educational Consulting and serving in community-based organizations supporting literacy, in addition to having a decade of teaching experience. I earned a bachelor’s degree from Florida A&M University in Business Administration. I also earned a master’s degree from Mercer University in Early Childhood Education as well as a Gifted Endorsement serving Elementary Grades. When I am not teaching, I enjoy crafting, customizing clothing, reading, listening to music, and tinkering with electronics and technology. A few of my favorite things are pressed tea, random acts of kindness, and musicals.
Students will learn through many different strategies while practicing divergent thinking and creating real world connections. I love teaching students through hands-on activities that are curriculum-based, and that are also engaging. I will also help students to understand that school not only represents specific content, but also life skills through practicing student agency. Lessons from the Second Step Program will be reinforced, which will teach students how their behavior factors into positive relationships and academic success, ensuring that students' learning experiences focus on whole child development.
One of my favorite experiences of being an educator is when students contribute to our learning experience! If your child has a tip, website related to the current content, or independent project that was created because they have really connected with the content, share it! Students really enjoy learning from their peers. This also encourages other students to connect content to the real world and make meaningful understandings through critical and higher order thinking.
I believe that the partnership that we create with your children in education will provide the best opportunity for lasting academic success. Please contact me, and I will do my best to assist. I hope that you will help our class too! I am looking forward to a year of new experiences, positive communication, and positive academic growth. Let’s go on a learning adventure together!
Sincerely,
Ms. Early
