Students in grades 3-8 will participate in the Georgia Milestones End of Grade Assessment . This state assessment measures students’ mastery of the state-adopted content standards in language arts, math, science, and social studies. The Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) will analyze assessment results and provide achievement scores for each content area. Milestones scores provide information about how prepared a student is to move on to the next grade and will be used to help make promotion or retention decisions.
