    It is also advised to print the PowerPoint handouts and bring them to class for additional note-taking during lectures.  Make sure you print "handouts" and not slides and use "grayscale" or "pure black and white" to avoid wasting color ink (also some of the backgrounds make it harder to read in color print).  We will quickly review the first two chapters and the pre-AP assignment during the first few days of school.
