     Mrs. Burch would like to thank each member of our LGHS Literary Team for their hard work and participation at the region literary meet this past Saturday at Spalding High School. LGHS placed third overall! Please congratulate the following competitors for placing in the top three of their individual categories:
     
    Duncan Curl and Elaine Brown placed 3rd in Extemporaneous Speaking​
    Elaine Brown placed 3rd in Girls' Solo
    Chandler Gilbert placed 3rd in Boys' Dramatic Interpretation
    John Scott placed 2nd in Boys' Essay
    Maya Lightner placed 1st in Girls' Essay
    Amanda Kuykendall placed 1st in Girls' Dramatic Interpretation
    Both Maya and Amanda will represent LGHS at the State Literary Meet at Veteran's High School on March 14th.
