    Coach Chris Huffman played varsity and American Legion Baseball for three years in North Carolina before playing at Pembroke State University (now UNCP). He later transferred to UNC Greensboro and was a student assistant coach for two years under the guidance of Mike Gaski, current president of USA baseball.                        

    He began his high school coaching career as an assistant at Richmond Senior High and helped the Raiders to a berth in the State Championship. He served as a head coach at Fayetteville, NC, Terry Sanford High School for 8 years. His competitive teams have reached the playoffs consistently. Coach Huffman has sent several players to the collegiate and professional levels.

    Coach Huffman is married to HHS Assistant Principal Michelle, and they have three children: Keely (HHS Class of 2019), Kaleb and Kamden.
