• Originally from Hopkinton, Massachusetts, I have served in Henry County Schools since 2002. Prior to coming to Henry County, I worked in Clayton County as a special education teacher and as an English teacher at Forest Park High School. In 2002, I transferred to Henry County High where I spent the next seven years of my career.  I was part of the inaugural staff of Locust Grove High in 2009, and I’ve been happy to call it home ever since.

I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia with a BA in English Literature, and I earned both my administrative credentials and my Master’s Degree at Georgia State University. In 2017 I completed my PhD at Mercer University.
My areas of specialty include Language Arts curriculum, scheduling, honors and AP coursework, 504, Governor's Honors, and hospital homebound.
