Greetings! My name is Dr. Jason Riley and I am ecstatic to be one of the new assistant principals here at Locust Grove High School. I am a Henry County resident, but I am originally from a small rural community in Colleton County, SC. I earned my BA in History from Savannah State University. I earned my MA in Teaching from Augusta State University. And I also hold a Doctorate in Divinity. I am an 8 year veteran of the United States Marine Corps and former law enforcement officer. I earned my teaching certificate in 2009, however I did not really begin my career in education until 2014.
Before coming to Henry County Schools, I worked as a paraprofessional and then Special Education Teacher in Clayton County. I served as a department chair, assistant testing coordinator, teacher leader, multi-sport coach, mentor and advocate for students with disabilities. I consider myself to be a transformational leader and life learner. I am excited to begin my administrative career with you all at Locust Grove High and I look forward to living the True BLUE Wildcat Way.
