    Thank you for visiting my page! I am so excited to begin the 2024/2025 school year. This will be my second year at LGHS teaching MOID.  I have been in education since 2002. I began as a Special Education Paraprofessional at Unity Grove Elementary while going to school for Education, specializing in Special Education. I taught Special Education/Orthopedic Impairment at Unity Grove before coming to LGHS. I love teaching Exceptional Students! This is my dream job and I feel blessed that I get to be a part of your child's educational journey. I look forward to collaborating with families, partner students and teachers to ensure a meaningful, successful, and fun learning experience.
     
    A little about me...I have been married to my wonderful husband Billy for 22 years. He is an electrician with HCS  We have two daughters, two cats (Gracie, a tabby and Bandit, a Main Coon) and 3 dogs (Aurora,a Labradoddle, Jaxon, a Pocket Pit Terrier mix, and Greta, an American Pit Terrier). My oldest daughter, Amanda, teaches middle school math and science for Paulding County Schools, and my youngest, Audrey, will be a junior at LGHS this year. I love to spend time with my family, garden, read, craft and go on adventures.
