Below are dates from the class of 2024. These can give you an idea of what and when things happen.

Prom at Savanna Hall at Zoo Atlanta @ 7:00 – 11:00 PM
Apr 1
Senior Fees Due on My School Bucks ($150) or cash to front office
Apr 19
Academic and Military Signing Day @ 9 AM in main gym
Apr 22-26
Senior Week
May 1
Exams for 1st and 2nd periods (in the morning on a modified bell schedule)
May 2
Exams for 3rd, 4th, and 5th periods (in the morning on a modified bell schedule)
Chromebook Collection and Cap and Gown Pickup in media center after last exam. Must have all obligations cleared and all classes passed.
May 3
Exams for 6th and 7th periods (in the morning on a modified bell schedule)
Chromebook Collection and Cap and Gown Pickup in media center after last exam. Must have all obligations cleared and all classes passed.
May 15
Senior Field Day & Picnic on football field @ 9 AM ends at 12.
Senior letters due in front office. Parents, family, friends, and teachers can write letters to graduating seniors, congratulating them, expressing their love and “proudness” of them, telling them how they’ve impacted their lives, giving them “life” advice, etc. These letters are sorted into big envelopes and given to each senior at the Senior Breakfast.
May 19
Baccalaureate in the main auditorium at Sharon Church @ 2:30 PM. Seniors meet in the Warehouse upstairs. Baccalaureate is an optional activity for graduates and their families. It's a non-denominational religious service hosted by FCA to honor and inspire graduates. Wear your gown and stole but not your cap.
Senior Honors Ceremony in main gym @ 4:45 PM. Dress nicely but do not wear cap/gown. If you are receiving an award, you will receive an invitation. If you are receiving an award and do not attend, you can pick it up the next day at graduation practice.
May 20
Senior Breakfast in main gym @ 8:30. Students receive senior letters at breakfast.
OMS/OHS Senior Walk. Meet in OMS gym @ 9:30 AM. Walk to the bus entrance near the cafeteria. Wear cap, gown, and stole. Parents park wherever they can find a spot, including along Mustang Alley and North Ola Rd. Parents will line the walkway outside of the high school, starting at the fence near the stadium and going up to the student entrance at the 700 hall. The walk ends with all graduates going out the front door by the main office. After the walk, put your cap and gown in your car and return to the OHS main gym.

May 21
Elementary Schools Senior Walk
New Hope:7:30AM - 8:30AM
New Hope Elementary Cafeteria

Graduation Practice in main gym @ 9:45 AM (mandatory). You do not need to wear your cap and gown.
Senior Parade @ 6 PM. Line up in bus lane around 5:30. Vehicles must be street-legal and have a license plate. You can decorate your vehicles and ride together with friends.
May 22
Graduation at Atlanta Motor Speedway at 7:30 PM. Clear bag policy is enforced. Guests are not supposed to bring food and drinks, but concessions are sold inside. Gates open at 5:30 PM. Graduates arrive by 6 PM (mandatory)
