My name is Karen Herzler and this is my sixth year at Ola High School, after teaching the previous six years at Ola Middle School. Prior to that, I taught for 4 years at Locust Grove High School. I am excited to continue with the Ola Cluster family! I am certified to teach both middle and high school mathematics. I have four children of my own, all of which attend(ed) schools in the Ola cluster.
I graduated from Jonesboro High School in Jonesboro, Georgia. I received an A.S. degree in Biology from Clayton State and a B.B.A. in Finance from Georgia State University. I then attended Columbus State University, where I received a M.A.T. in Secondary Mathematics. I completed my Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction at Lincoln Memorial University.
I am very excited about this school year and looking forward to helping your students grow in mathematics! Please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns.
Students will be able to utilize their High School Transition class to attend tutoring for math Monday through Thursday. Tutoring with me will also be available by appointment. Your student should just check with me directly and we will discuss options.
