Parent-Teacher Conference Days - Fall 2021

Dear Families of Henry County Schools:

As part of their on-going commitment to building and maintaining strong home-school partnerships, the Henry County Schools Board of Education approved 3 early release days for Parent-Teacher Conferences. These conferences provide an opportunity to engage with your child’s teacher(s) and to discuss your child’s strengths, current progress, recent assessment data, and any areas of concern. Your input plays an important role in how we support your student and we hope that you will take this opportunity to join us in our pursuit of exceptional growth and performance of your child. 

When are the Parent-Teacher Conference Days?

October 11th, 12th, and 13th 

What time are conferences available?

From September 29 through October 4, Ola teachers will reach out to individual student families to set up conferences.  From October 4 to October 8, parents may reach out to their child’s teachers and set up a one-on-one parent-teacher conference.

If your child is failing multiple courses, a larger parent-teacher conference with all teachers can be scheduled on a different date through our counseling department. Please contact Ms. Melissa Jones at melissa.jones@henry.k12.ga.us or 770-288-3222. 

What COVID-19 mitigation strategies will be in place?

We will follow all COVID-19 mitigation procedures in effect during the time that conferences occur in-person on Wednesday (e.g. masks, social distancing, cleaning between appointments, etc.).
