    It is an honor to serve as the Literacy Instructional Lead Teacher here at Tussahaw Elementary. In my position, I work with teachers, administrators, and community to ensure the students we serve receive solid instructional practices that will ultimately lead to student achivement. This site will provide you with information and activities for the areas of reading and writing. I will be adding additional resources throughout the school year, so be sure to check back often to find new and interesting ways to engage your child in literacy.

    My definition of coaching is building relationships amongst all faculty and staff to instill sound instructional practices in our building.

    I coach because I wish to develop a positive culture and climate in my building that builds knowledge of ELA content.

    I coach to encourage others to step outside their comfort zones and try new strategies.

    I coach because I care.
