    Welcome to Second Grade! 
    I'm excited about starting a new year on this educational journey! My name is Mrs. Champion and this will be my 29th year in education. I have taught first grade for 6 years, 1 year teaching third grade, and the rest have been in second. I have high expectations and encourage my students to have the same. My approach is to teach them both academics and the skills they need to be lifelong learners beyond the classroom as well. You can expect me to be fair and patient with my students and treat them as the unique individuals that they are. My goal is to provide a safe and orderly classroom where effective teaching and learning can be maintained.This is a responsibility that I share with my students and parents because we are in a partnership! I look forward to a great year!
