Ms. Summer Watson

Welcome to my page! My name is Ms. Summer Watson. I have been a teacher since 2002. I have worked at Tussahaw since 2011. I taught in the fifth grade classroom for several years before I began teaching gifted education. I absolutely love my job and look forward to working with your child this year. I am the mother of two children. Both of them will be in high school this year. They both attended Tussahaw and were extremely active in the clubs and sports that were available. I graduated from GA State with my degree in education and received my Specialist Degree from Argosy University. I am from Forest Park, GA. I am a huge fan of Atlanta United, Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Falcons. It is my belief that together: teachers, parents and administration can help your child succeed. It is my intention to make learning fun, yet challenging. My goal this year is to help students develop creativity and to accelerate their learning beyond the classroom.
