    I am very excited about another school year! This is my sixteenth year teaching. I have taught kindergarten and first grade. I have a bachelor's degree in sociology from West Georgia, a teacher certification from Mercer University, a master's degree from Walden University, and a specialist degree from Columbus State.  My husband and I are happy to call Henry County our home. We have two daughters. My oldest daughter is seven and starting second grade and my youngest daughter is 5 and starting kindergarten this year. They are also Mt. Carmel Mustangs! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, shopping, and reading.
