Ms. Wright, Professional School Counselor
  •
    Hello!

I am happy to be starting my 17th year of school counseling! I worked as a school counselor in DeKalb County for 8 years before transitioning to Henry County. I earned my Bachelor's in Psychology (2004) and Master's in School Counseling (2007) at the University of West Georgia.

My favorite thing about being a school counselor is working with students in all grade levels. Caring Counselors have two major responsibilities; to make sure students are safe and to protect their social and emotional well-being. It is my goal to visit classrooms each month to conduct counseling lessons based on particular character traits and student needs. I am looking forward to helping your child have a memorable and fun learning experience this year!

When I am not being a Caring Counselor I enjoy reading, exercising, working on jigsaw puzzles and spending time with my family. I also enjoy cheering on my favorite teams, Atlanta United and the Braves!
