Hello!  Welcome to Mrs. G's website!  

This is my thirteenth year teaching in the Henry County School System and my tenth year teaching at Impact Academy.  I have served as an Exceptional Student Educator in every grade level (k - 12) while at Impact.  I am excited about returning to the middle school program this year after spending the last 3 years with our elementary program. This is going to be such an exciting year for us and your families as we move from a program to a school! Go OWLS!! 

 In 1998, I graduated from Meredith College in North Carolina with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology.  In 2011, I graduated from Brenau University in Atlanta with a Master's in the Art of Teaching in Special Education.

 Impact Academy has been a great experience for me and my family over the past 11 years.  My two sons attended IA from January 2013 to May 2019.  My oldest son graduated in May 2018 and my youngest son graduated in May 2019.  When I am not teaching, I can be found riding my bicycle around the county or across the state, walking, jogging or watching TV. I love being outside and especially watching the sunrise on the beach and going on camping trips with my husband. I can't wait to get to know all the unique things about our students this year!
