This page contains resources and information for you and your family about how summer school works.  This site is dedicated to information regarding half and full credit courses for summer.

 2024 Summer School Registration 

Important Dates:

• Registration Window: May 28 - June 4 @ 4:00 pm
• The mandatory virtual orientation is May 30th @ 3:00pm or June 4th @ 10:30am.  Attend one session.  Click HERE to attend.
• Questions - Please call 770-954-3744
• Classes start: Tuesday, June 4
• The last day to register and pay is June 4 @ 4:00 pm. 
• Drop Course Deadline (grade will not appear on the student's transcript): June 20
• Last Day for ALL students: July 11th @ 4:00 pm
• Summer graduation: July 19th
• Please note that all deadlines are firm.

• Drop Course Deadline: June 20- A dropped class can be requested by emailing: Belinda.Bailey@henry.k12.ga.us.  Include your student's full name, Student ID number and the course name. Dropped courses will not be refunded. 
• HCS Student Tuition:  $130 per .5 credit;       $260 per 1.0 full credit  (2023-24 enrolled students)
• Private or other school system tuition: $210 per .5 credit;       $420 per 1.0 full credit 
• 2 credits can be earned during the summer session
• Each summer school course should take 3 hours per day/ 5 days a week/ for the entire 5-week summer session.
• Please note there are no scholarships or payment plans for summer school courses.
