Greetings, Mustang Nation! We are excited to begin the 2023-2024 school year, and we are thrilled to welcome our Mustangs back on campus. This year the theme for our staff and students is Engagement Always, In All Ways. We will work to engage our students, staff, and families and continue enhancing the connectivity we've always shared here at Ola High School. Our teachers will engage our students and guide and support them through meaningful learning opportunities to prepare them to be productive members of our global society. A focus for engaging students that is critical to their success is their attendance. Our teachers are busy preparing lessons that will provide rigorous learning experiences and prepare them to be productive citizens accountable for future jobs and career opportunities.

This year will be my 9th year at Ola High School. I spent six years as an assistant principal, and I enter my 3rd year in the role as principal. Before coming to Ola, I served as the Athletic Director at Union Grove High School. I started teaching at Luella High School, where I taught social studies and coached football, volleyball, and soccer. I went into education 17 years ago believing this: "Give a man a fish, feed him only for a day. TEACH a man to fish, feed him for life." I believe all students can do whatever they apply themselves toward and achieve greatness through hard work, commitment, and follow-through.

My family and I reside in Monticello, Georgia, with our two dogs Beaux and Annie. We look forward to having another fantastic year! As we always say, We Are Ola! Go Mustangs!
