Ms. Jessica Torres

Ms. Torres grew up in Fort Myers, Florida. She earned an undergraduate degree in Pre-Med Biology at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana. She later earned a Masters of Education in Special Education from Valdosta State University.
Ms. Torres has been a teacher at Ola High School for 14 years. Her first three years, she served as a general education teacher, teaching Biology, Environmental Science and Physical Science. From 2011 to 2020, she was a teacher in Special Education and served the last 5 years as a Special Education Department Chair. In the Fall of 2020, Ms. Ms. Torres began serving Ola High School as the Student Support Facilitator.
Ms. Torres has coached a multitude of sports at Ola High School, including Cheerleading, Track, Volleyball, Tennis, Cross Country and Swimming. She has enjoyed maintaining relationships with her student athletes and their families through the years.
On a personal note, Ms. Torres enjoys playing tennis, reading and spending time with her family and friends. She currently resides in the Ola Community where she has lived with her husband Carlos, four children and two dogs for the past 14 years.
