Mr. Jason Bothwell

Mr. Jason Bothwell is honored to serve as an Assistant Principal of Ola High School as he enters his 15th year in Education. Mr. Bothwell is originally from Birmingham, Alabama where he's served for 11 years as a Career and Technical Education Educator and 4 years as an Administrator. Mr. Bothwell received his Bachelor of Arts from Alabama State University, a Master’s in Business Administration and Sports Management from Columbia Southern University, a Master of Education in Instructional Leadership from Jacksonville State University, and an Educational Specialist degree in Instructional Leadership from Auburn University at Montgomery.

Mr. Jason Bothwell takes great pride in fostering the potential of others while striving to continuously grow in his role as an administrator. Mr. Bothwell is a former student athlete, in high school and collegiate level, that values the academic development and advancement of all student athletes within the school he serves. Mr. Bothwell lives by two quotes: “Everyday is a day to get better at something”, and “Life is simple, but we insist on making it complicated.”

Mr. Jason Bothwell is joined by his family; Alexes, who's also in Education and Skylar, who's entering her first year of high school.
