Mrs. Patti Paris

My name is Patti Paris and I am the Literacy Instructional Lead Teacher (LILT) at Cotton Indian Elementary.   

I grew up in Indiana, but have lived in several different states to include Arizona, Tennessee, North Carolina, the country of Panama and for the past 10 years -  GEORGIA!   

     My family is very important to me.  I am married to a great guy, who is retired from the military and have two wonderful grown children.  My son, Thomas graduated from MTSU  and is a pilot in Tennessee and my daughter, Shay graduated from Georgia State University and lives and works in Atlanta.     Reading has been a love of mine since I was a young child.  I grew up in a family of readers and still love nothing more than to lose myself in a good book.   Teaching our young people to read and instilling the love of reading is a dream job for me!
