                  Welcome     
         I have been with the Henry County Board of Education since 2009.   I started in EBD at Hampton Middle School.  I then moved to Stockbridge Middle and was over In School Suspension. I then transferred to Cotton Indian Elementary as a Kindergarten Paraprofessional.  Then to my current position of ESE Teacher for the past 3 years. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Social Science with a concentration on Education from Ashford University and a Graduate Degree in Special Education from Grand Canyon University. I am currently teaching 3rd and 4th grade students with disabilities in the academic areas of Math, Language Arts and Reading.  I am now entering my 4th year of teaching 5th grade.  I love teaching because nothing replaces the smile on a kid's face when they finally get something and you help them get there.  I am also the Head Baseball Coach at Stockbridge High School. I am entering my 9th year of coaching at Stockbridge High School.  
         I have been married for 30 years to my best friend, Cindy Greene.  We have three children; Taylor, Nathan, and Jack.  We are a sports family, which means if they are keeping  score, we are  typically watching.  My oldest is a Kindergarten Teacher at CIE and just got married in June of 2023.  Nathan is our P.E. Coach and helps me coach at the high school.  Jack is currently in training to become an EMT/Firefighter.
     
    Credentials:  Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences/with a Concentration in Education from Ashford University.
                         Master's Degree in Special Education from Grand Canyon University.
