My name is Mrs. Kathleen Youmans and I will be your child’s MOID teacher this year.  I am very excited about getting to be a part of your child’s academic journey this school year. 

I was born and raised in New York and have lived in Georgia since 2005.  I graduated from Mercer University with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Special Education.  I was an educator in the MOID classroom from 2007 to 2013.  Then I taught kindergarten from 2013 to 2021.  As of 2021, I find myself back in the MOID classroom!!  This opportunity came back to me and I just couldn’t pass it up!!  Mrs. Jimerson and I have worked together since 2021 and she will be working with me again this year.  She has been in education since 2006 and she is phenomenal!!   We are very excited about being a part of your child’s educational journey.
