About me

I am happy to be teaching your awesome third-grade students. This is my fourth year at Pate's Creek and my third year teaching third-grade. I previously taught fifth-grade at Pate's Creek, and before coming to PCE, I substitute taught in Whitfield County Schools, and I have also worked for a variety of organizations where I worked in education with children. I worked with Henry County Schools previously when I worked for Communities In Schools of Henry County through AmeriCorps, where I worked with middle schools in Henry County to help children get resources they needed. I also have worked for YMCA at an elementary school after-school program. 

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from LaGrange College in LaGrange, GA, and I later completed my teacher certification at Dalton State College in Dalton, GA. I am happy to be a third-grade teacher at Pate's Creek Elementary School!
