Welcome to Mr. Simons’ third-grade class at Pate’s Creek Elementary School! We will be learning a lot of interesting things this school year, and I am glad to have your child in my class as we go through this exciting year together! In Social Studies, we will learn a lot about American Indian cultures and the exploration and colonization of North America. In Math, we will learn about multiplication, division, fractions, measurements, and more. We will also learn a variety of Science concepts and do invigorating experiments to learn fascinating information about rocks, soil, fossils, energy, the environment, and so much more. We will also read many exciting books and improve our reading and writing skills. I hope you are as thrilled about this year as I am!
