Dear Panther family,

I have no doubt that this school year is going to be amazing! I would like to welcome back all of our returning families. For those families that are new to Pate’s Creek, we are so glad you are here.   Pate’s Creek is known for supporting and developing 21st-century leaders through the implementation of innovative practices. As one team, students, parents, staff, and community working together, we strive to meet each child at their current level and then support them in reaching their highest learning potential. This requires consistent communication, collaboration, and celebration from all parties. I look forward to working together this school year as we watch our students learn and grow!

A little bit about me…

This is my twenty-second year with Henry County Schools. I have had the opportunity to teach in the general education classroom, even beginning my career here as a 3rd-grade teacher, support literacy as a media specialist, taught teachers as a personalized learning coach, served as an Assistant Principal for Mt. Carmel Elementary, and most recently the Associate Principal for Impact Academy Elementary prior to having the honor of joining the Pate’s Creek family in March of 2023. I am so proud to call Pate’s Creek home and look forward to our time together.

My family and I live, learn, work, worship, and play in Henry County.  I am a Henry County native, graduating from Stockbridge High and my personal children attend Union Grove High School.  My husband and I are proud supporters of our community through different organizations and nonprofits.  Our family loves to travel, watch movies and eat yummy food together! All of us look forward to supporting and growing with Pate’s Creek Elementary.
