Ms. Kristin Jewell

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year.  I am so excited to meet your students, begin working hard, and helping them become MVP's (Most Valuable Panthers) in all areas of their lives.  I received my BA in Education in 1993 from Ohio Wesleyan University.  I taught 2nd grade for several years, and then was a stay-at-home mom with my two children for the next 18 years. When coming back to teaching, I decided I really wanted to focus on those students with particular learning needs. It has been my great pleasure to find my home at PCE for the last 4 years.  I currently have a Georgia Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood Education, a certificate in Special Education, certification in American Sign Language (non-teaching), a Reading Endorsement certificate and will have my Gifted Endorsement in October 2024. My greatest passion is connecting with students and watching them grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
