Mission

The mission of Hickory Flat Elementary Counseling Department is to provide a comprehensive counseling program aligned with the ASCA model designed to meet the academic, social/emotional and college/career needs of all students.  As a charter school focusing on the eight different intelligences, we will work in conjunction with all students, staff, family, and community members to draw on students’ intellectual strengths and dominant learning styles so they will achieve success in the present and the future.

The Hickory Flat Elementary School Counseling Department vision is to encourage and influence students so that they will realize their unique learning styles throughout their lives.
