WELCOME TO 3RD GRADE 

Hi everyone! My name is Ms. Jacobs and this is my 4th year teaching in Henry County Schools. I have previously taught 2nd and 4th grade. This is my first year at Hickory Flat, and I am super excited about starting this year with your 3rd graders.  I attended the University of Arizona and received my bachelor's in Business Information Systems. I have received my Master's degree in Elementary Education from Mercer University, and I am set to graduate this May with my specialist degree and math endorsement from Mercer as well. As a teacher, I will provide a welcoming, safe space where students can learn through play-based interactions. Not only will they grow academically, but they will also boost their social-emotional wellness and overall confidence. Fun Fact:

My favorite food is soul food and I love binge-watching TV with my children in my spare time. I have four children total, including one daughter and three sons. Their ages range from 7-14.
