Hello!  My name is Christie McMichael.  I started teaching in 2006.  Prior to coming to Henry County, I taught in Rockdale County.  I have taught kindergarten, second, third and first grade.  I graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Emphasis in Education and a minor in Science and English.  I also have a Gifted and Reading Endorsement.

My husband James and I have been married since 2007.  We have two children, Ethan and Ally.  We are very busy on the weekends with travel baseball and competing in cow shows.

I am very excited about the 2022-2023 school year and look forward to working with you and your child throughout the year.  I know that together we can make this a great year in KINDERGRATEN!
