Mrs. Leslie Knight

Dear parents/ guardians,

Hello! My name is Leslie Knight. I have been teaching for 15 years. Throughout my 15 years of teaching, I have taught First Grade, Kindergarten, and now Second. I graduated from Gordon State College with my Bachelor's in Early Childhood/Generalized Special Education and from Valdosta State University with my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. I am working on my Specialist Degree at the University of West Georgia. 

My husband Luke and I have been married for 16 years. We have two little girls, Bailey and Carsen. We attend and are actively involved in Momentum Christian Church in McDonough. I was born and raised in Henry County.  Our family loves animals! We have three dogs (Katie, Patches, and Duke).

Here are some fun facts about me:

-I am deathly afraid of snakes. Like beyond terrified. 

-I love sour candy (extreme sour Patch Kids, sour punch straws, sour chewy sweet tarts, etc..).

-I think Mt Olive Dill Pickles (NOT Kosher Dill) are the best pickles in the world. 

-I have an older sister and an older brother, so I am the youngest.

I am very excited about this school year, and I look forward to working with you and your child throughout the year. I know that, together, we can make this a great school year.
