It will be a pleasure to be your child's teacher this year! Teaching has been a part of my life since 1994; I have spent all my years in elementary school - in grades kindergarten through 5th, inter-related through adapted curriculum. Since 2003, I have taught in my current position with the Ordopedically Impaired population. My Masters in Education is in Learning Disabilities but also certified in the following areas; Regular Education, Orthopedically Impaired, Adaptive Curriculum, and ESE Preschool. I'm highly qualified in the areas of Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies.
I am married with three children, ages 23, 20, and 14. One of my daughters got married this year, and the other one started nursing school this semester. The youngest, my son, started high school this year. Jimmy, my husband, is a children's pastor. My family holds my heart, but my students and their families also capture a special place there. This year is going to be a great one! I look forward to seeing our children grow both academically and behaviorally. Don't hesitate to reach out for questions.
